National Intern – Child Protection & Communications (2 positions)

About the role

UNICEF Libya is looking for two national interns to support the Child Protection Section. The role focuses on capacity‑building initiatives, cascade training, and communications related to child justice, ending violence against children and children on the move.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating and documenting cascade training activities on MHPSS, case management, child justice and children on the move.
• Support the development, review and formatting of training curricula, facilitator guides, presentations and learning materials.
• Coordinate with government counterparts, implementing partners, consultants and facilitators to ensure effective training delivery.
• Prepare meeting minutes, briefing notes, reports and other programme documentation.
• Monitor training implementation, track participants and manage knowledge‑management processes.
• Contribute to communication and visibility materials such as success stories, photographs, social‑media content and event highlights, following UNICEF branding guidelines.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a recognised university programme or graduated within the last two years.
• Degree or studies in Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, Law, International Relations, Public Policy, Education or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in child protection and children’s rights.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required.
