Project Manager

About the role

QP is looking for a Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, multi‑disciplinary construction projects in Benghazi. You will be responsible for guiding projects from concept through completion, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, cost, quality and safety targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and control projects from pre‑contract through construction and hand‑over.
• Coordinate design, procurement and construction activities, managing consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Monitor and update programmes, cost plans and risk registers, proactively handling changes and delays.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Prepare tender and contractual documentation, support procurement, evaluate bids and appoint contractors.
• Act as Engineer under FIDIC contracts where required and administer contracts accordingly.
• Provide site supervision and inspections to verify works align with approved designs and specifications.
• Deliver clear progress reports, presentations and recommendations to clients and senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or equivalent experience; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale or complex projects across pre‑ and post‑contract stages with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong technical and commercial understanding of construction delivery, FIDIC contracts, quality assurance and site safety.
• Ability to work under pressure, make informed decisions and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
