Senior Case Management Associate (Pre‑departure / VHR)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) seeks a Senior Case Management Associate to support the Voluntary Humanitarian Return (VHR) programme in Libya. The role focuses on pre‑departure assistance and case management for migrants opting for safe, orderly return.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive case management to individuals and families preparing for voluntary humanitarian return.
• Coordinate pre‑departure services, including documentation, health checks, and logistical arrangements.
• Collaborate with national authorities, UN agencies, donors, and civil‑society partners to ensure protection and support throughout the return process.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting on VHR activities, outcomes, and protection concerns.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of VHR procedures and guidelines.

Required profile

• Significant experience in migration management, humanitarian assistance, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of voluntary return processes and protection standards.
• Ability to work in a challenging environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills in English.
