Finance & Accounting Manager

About the role

Shield Enmaa Contracting is looking for a Finance & Accounting Manager to lead all financial and accounting functions for the company. The role focuses on accurate reporting, cash‑flow management, project profitability monitoring and continuous improvement of financial procedures to support sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all finance and accounting activities, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
• Develop, update and enforce financial policies and procedures.
• Review and approve accounting entries, supervise month‑end and year‑end closings, and prepare financial statements.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly cash‑flow forecasts and monitor bank balances.
• Plan upcoming financial commitments and prioritize payments according to business needs.
• Track project costs, compare actuals with budgets, and produce project profitability reports.
• Monitor customer balances, follow up collections and prepare aging reports.
• Review supplier invoices, schedule payments, and reconcile supplier accounts.
• Oversee payroll verification before processing.
• Generate periodic reports such as P&L, cash‑flow, financial position, and budget vs. actual analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 4 years’ accounting experience, preferably in the construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, cost centres and financial reporting.
• Experience handling receivables, collections, supplier payments and cash‑flow management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to lead while staying involved in day‑to‑day operations.
