Indian Pakistani Cuisine Chef

About the role

Sofra Services is seeking an experienced Indian Pakistani Cuisine Chef to join its culinary team on a full‑time, on‑site basis. You will be responsible for delivering authentic Indian and Pakistani dishes of the highest quality while supporting menu innovation and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and execute authentic Indian and Pakistani menus, including regional specialties and spice balances.
• Organise the kitchen workflow, oversee food preparation, cooking, seasoning, portioning and plating.
• Maintain consistent taste, quality and presentation standards in line with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Supervise, train and delegate tasks to kitchen staff, ensuring an efficient and organized team environment.
• Manage inventory, coordinate with suppliers for quality ingredients, and minimise waste.
• Collaborate with management on new menu items, promotions and overall dining experience.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in authentic Indian and Pakistani cuisine, including traditional cooking methods.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices and local health regulations.
• Experience in menu planning, inventory management and supplier coordination.
• Ability to lead, train and motivate kitchen staff under peak‑service pressure.
• Excellent time‑management, attention to detail and communication skills.
• Previous professional experience as a chef or cook specializing in Indian/Pakistani cuisine; formal culinary training is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
