Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation (M/E)

About the role

International Medical Corps is seeking a Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation (M/E) to strengthen program performance and accountability in Libya. The role will guide evidence‑based management at the field level, ensuring that project information is clear, accurate and useful for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design and adapt monitoring and evaluation methodologies, tools and indicators to meet program needs.
• Develop and maintain an M/E system that complies with IMC’s Global Guidelines, Minimum Standards for Quality and related policies.
• Oversee data collection, management and quality assurance processes across projects.
• Provide technical support to program teams and build M/E capacity within the country mission.
• Facilitate learning, knowledge sharing and collaboration with the wider humanitarian community.
• Support project development, including preparation and management of the M/E budget.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in monitoring and evaluation within humanitarian or development programmes.
• Knowledge of IMC M/E Global Guidelines, Minimum Standards for Quality and related policies.
• Proven ability to design methodologies, tools and data quality processes.
• Experience managing M/E budgets and supporting capacity‑building activities.
