Restaurant General Manager

About the role

Sofra Services is seeking a full‑time Restaurant General Manager to lead its Benghazi location. The role is on‑site and focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of service and food quality.
• Manage staff scheduling and supervise both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in compliance with health, safety, and local regulations.
• Monitor financial performance, manage inventory, and coordinate with suppliers.
• Implement promotional activities to boost revenue.
• Train, coach, and develop team members, handling hiring and onboarding.
• Address customer feedback and enforce company policies.

Required profile

• Strong financial and operational management skills, including P&L management and budgeting.
• Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction through effective service practices.
• Experience hiring, onboarding, and developing diverse restaurant teams.
• Leadership, team‑management, and problem‑solving abilities in a hospitality setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and local regulatory requirements.
• Previous experience as a Restaurant General Manager or in a similar supervisory role (highly preferred).
• Relevant education in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is an advantage.
