Space Applications Expert, Satellite Navigation & Connectivity

About the role

NTU International is preparing a proposal for the “Support to the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme – AESPP Boost”. The programme aims to strengthen cooperation between Africa and the European Union in the space sector. In this context, we are seeking a highly qualified Non‑Key Expert to support satellite navigation, GNSS, augmentation systems and satellite connectivity activities across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Support activities related to satellite navigation, GNSS and augmentation systems.
• Support satellite connectivity and the development and uptake of space‑based applications across Africa.

Required profile

• University degree at Master’s level in engineering, telecommunications, aeronautics, geomatics or a related field.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in satellite navigation, telecommunications or related applications.
• At least 4 years of experience working on satellite‑navigation or connectivity applications, including GNSS, SBAS, aviation or maritime applications and/or satellite broadband.
• Working knowledge of Galileo, EGNOS, IRIS² and relevant African navigation and augmentation initiatives is an asset.
