Accountant (English) – Benghazi Office

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Accountant to join our Benghazi office. The role will support day‑to‑day accounting operations in English and ensure accurate financial records for our travel‑services business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Record daily financial transactions and reconcile bank and balance‑sheet accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Provide financial insights and reports to operations and management.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting procedures.
• Assist with internal and external audits as required.
• Contribute to process improvements within the finance function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Benghazi and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Previous experience in travel, tourism, aviation or services sector is an advantage.
