Data Collector – Field Monitoring (Alkufra)

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a motivated Data Collector to support monitoring, evaluation and feedback mechanisms in Alkufra. You will work directly with the Monitoring and CRA Senior Officer, gathering high‑quality data from project sites and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field‑level data collection, including monitoring visits, focus group discussions (FGDs) and key informant interviews (KIIs).
• Enter and verify data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support community feedback mechanisms (CFM) by organizing sessions, surveys and capacity‑building activities.
• Assist with data quality checks, audits and regular reporting of findings.
• Participate in data analysis, interpretation and documentation while adhering to data protection and safeguarding protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in field data collection and basic data analysis.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
• Previous experience with NGOs is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ICT tools and digital data‑collection platforms.
