National Intern – Child Protection & Communications (2 positions)

About the role

UNICEF Libya is seeking two national interns to support the Child Protection Section, focusing on child justice, ending violence against children, and communications. The role involves assisting with capacity‑building initiatives and cascade training across mental health, case management and child protection topics.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating and documenting cascade training activities for MHPSS, case management, child justice and children on the move.
• Support development, review and formatting of training curricula, facilitator guides, presentations and learning materials.
• Coordinate with government counterparts, implementing partners, consultants and facilitators to ensure effective training delivery.
• Prepare meeting minutes, briefing notes, reports and other programme documentation.
• Monitor training implementation, track participants and manage knowledge‑management processes.
• Contribute to communication and visibility materials such as success stories, photographs, social‑media content and event highlights, following UNICEF branding guidelines.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a recognised university degree programme or graduated within the last two years.
• Degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, Law, International Relations, Public Policy, Education or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in child protection and children’s rights.
