Regional Sales Manager – Construction Machinery

About the role

The Regional Sales Manager will drive sales growth for NMC’s construction machinery portfolio across the Benghazi region. Reporting to senior management, you will lead a team, develop new business opportunities, and maintain strong relationships with contractors, fleet owners and industrial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the assigned territory.
• Visit client sites and project locations to understand requirements and present solutions.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations and commercial offers.
• Negotiate contracts and close complex deals.
• Coordinate with technical and service departments to ensure correct specifications, timely delivery and after‑sales support.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, reports and performance updates to management.
• Mentor and support the regional sales team to achieve targets.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in construction machinery, heavy equipment or related industrial sectors.
• Strong territory management, pipeline development and deal‑closing capabilities.
• Ability to build long‑term relationships with contractors, fleet owners and industrial clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluency in Arabic and good working knowledge of English.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the region and work in field conditions.
• Commitment to ethical, inclusive and safety‑conscious business practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience with digital communication platforms.
