YouTube Strategist – Remote Full‑Time/Contract

About the role

We are looking for a data‑driven YouTube Strategist to own and scale our channel presence. You will shape the end‑to‑end video content pipeline, from concept to performance analysis, turning YouTube into a high‑impact engine for brand awareness and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term channel strategies aligned with business goals, optimizing for YouTube search and suggested video algorithms.
• Conduct audience research and competitor analysis to identify trending topics and high‑value content opportunities.
• Guide writers, videographers, and editors to create videos with strong hooks, titles, thumbnails, and pacing.
• Optimize metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails) to maximize click‑through rates and watch time.
• Monitor key metrics in YouTube Studio and translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Maintain an editorial calendar and streamline production workflows.
• Collaborate with social media, paid ads, and product marketing teams to integrate video content across channels.
• Identify and pursue monetization options, sponsorships, and merchandise integrations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record of growing YouTube channels, supported by a portfolio or case studies.
• Deep, up‑to‑date knowledge of the YouTube algorithm, SEO best practices, and community guidelines.
• Strong ability to interpret YouTube Analytics data and turn it into strategic actions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for briefing and feedback.
