Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our vibrant team. You will be responsible for accurately recording cost and expense documents, reflecting revenue and expenses in compliance with legislation, company policies and generally accepted accounting principles. You will also liaise with our certified public accountant to ensure full regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and verify sales revenues, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Provide comprehensive financial, cost and financing information to the Sales Manager or immediate superior.
• Handle timely bank deposits for all sales proceeds and record them accurately.
• Process payments for approved expenditures, following written approvals and maintaining proper accounting records.
• Manage disbursements of allowances as required.
• Maintain the annual cost‑budget sheet, monitor expenses against budget limits and alert superiors of any overruns.
• Oversee administrative affairs related to accounting and follow up on related issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or high‑school graduation.
• At least one year of experience in finance, accounting, monthly close and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and their practical application.
• Excellent command of English and the local language.
• Valid work permit or citizenship.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and capable of making accurate decisions.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast‑paced environment.
