Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will join a leading industrial subsidiary of Sulaiman Holding Group in Benghazi, Libya. This full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for driving accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic decision‑making and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports and journal entries on a timely basis.
• Manage fixed‑asset accounting, including tracking, depreciation and reporting.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all accounting records.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts and financial plans.
• Analyse business performance metrics and provide strategic insights to senior management.
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve financial processes and controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in financial statement preparation, budgeting, forecasting and fixed‑asset management.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in financial software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
