Contracts Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join Archirodon’s Marine Projects team in Libya. The role involves overseeing contract compliance, handling legal documentation, and supporting the Project Manager throughout project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, supervise and ensure compliance with construction and related contracts, advising the Project Manager.
• Prepare and manage all contractual correspondence and legal documents for project execution.
• Ensure contractual obligations to the client are met and report status to the Project Manager.
• Identify contractual and legal issues at project level and refer them appropriately.
• Review and prepare contracts with third parties using standard templates.
• Evaluate supplier/subcontractor proposals and respond to bids and contract modifications.
• Analyse and manage business conflicts, proposing solutions to the Project Manager.
• Collect and coordinate critical inputs for litigation, arbitration or settlement matters in collaboration with the Legal & Contracts department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quantity surveying or construction law.
• Minimum 15 years of experience, including at least 10 years as a Contract Manager on large, complex projects.
• Proven experience in marine projects and deep contractual knowledge.
• Full spectrum of contracts management experience (document review, claims, dispute resolution).
• Excellent written and oral proficiency in English and Arabic.
• Strong leadership, people‑management and diplomatic skills in a matrix environment.
• Ability to prioritize, work in a fast‑paced setting and propose problem‑solving ideas.
• Attention to detail and willingness to travel and work with diverse cultures.
