Electrical & Automation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Electrical & Automation Engineer to join our operations team in Benghazi. The role focuses on commissioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated machinery, control panels, and industrial communication networks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code, and troubleshoot PLC programs and HMI interfaces using Siemens TIA Portal/S7, Allen‑Bradley Studio 5000/Logix Designer, and Fanuc platforms.
• Configure and manage SCADA software for continuous data acquisition, alarm logging, and real‑time process monitoring.
• Implement and troubleshoot industrial Ethernet protocols such as Profinet, EtherNet/IP, and Modbus TCP to connect field devices, PLCs, drives, and robotics.
• Read, interpret, and draft electrical schematics, single‑line diagrams, and control panel layouts in accordance with NEC/IEC safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in PLC, SCADA, and HMI programming.
• Proficiency with Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, and Fanuc systems.
• Strong foundation in low‑voltage circuit design, control panel wiring, relay logic, and power distribution.
