Finance Manager - Restaurant

About the role

Sofra Services, a market leader in retail, food services, hospitality and business development, is hiring a Finance Manager for its restaurant units. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Benghazi, overseeing day-to-day financial operations such as revenues, expenses and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare budgets and forecasts, manage cash flow and review daily sales reports
• Reconcile accounts and prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Analyze variances and recommend ways to optimize costs and improve margins
• Work with operations, procurement and HR to ensure accurate financial data and support business decisions
• Maintain compliance with internal policies and local regulatory requirements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field; a professional certification such as CPA or CMA is an advantage
• Previous experience in restaurant, retail or hospitality finance is highly preferred
• Ability to work on-site in Benghazi and adapt to a fast-paced, service-focused environment

Required skills

• Financial management, budgeting, forecasting and cost control in a restaurant or hospitality setting
• Accounting principles, financial reporting and reconciliation, preferably with experience using accounting and POS systems
• Ability to analyze financial data, prepare management reports and communicate clearly with leadership
• Organizational skills, attention to detail and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
