Full Stack Engineer (Freelance)

About the role

Nuzum builds websites, booking systems, customer and inventory management systems and custom applications for businesses in Libya. It is looking for freelance developers to work on client projects. This is a remote, freelance position paid per project, where you build and maintain web applications and business systems for clients, working closely with the Nuzum team from requirements to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Build responsive front-ends and secure back-end services and APIs
• Design and manage databases for booking, customer and inventory systems
• Turn client requirements into working features and take part in code reviews
• Fix bugs and improve existing Nuzum products, including Nuzum Booking

Required profile

• Solid experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React and Node.js
• Experience with Next.js and a SQL database such as PostgreSQL or Supabase
• Understanding of authentication, security and REST APIs
• Comfortable working remotely and communicating clearly in English; Arabic is a plus
• A portfolio or GitHub showing projects you have built
