IT Support & Network Officer – Construction Site Operations

About the role

TGG Construction and Development is looking for a motivated IT Support & Network Officer to provide day‑to‑day technical assistance and maintain network infrastructure on its construction sites in Libya. The role works closely with operational teams to ensure reliable, secure IT services across the project environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily IT support to office and site personnel.
• Manage and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server environments.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot firewalls, gateways, and VPN connections.
• Support network hardware including switches, UniFi/MikroTik wireless access points, and internet connectivity.
• Maintain Windows client systems and oversee CCTV, access‑control, biometric attendance, and turnstile devices.
• Monitor system performance, implement improvements, and ensure security compliance.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Assist with new technology implementations and infrastructure projects.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, network administration or infrastructure operations.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Ability to travel internationally and work on‑site.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
