Project Assistant – TVET Initiatives

About the role

The Project Assistant will support the implementation of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) upgrade initiatives in Tripoli. Working under the LMI Programme Manager and the Senior Programme Assistant, you will ensure smooth administrative and logistical operations for project activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support for TVET projects, including document preparation and filing.
• Assist in financial and resource management tasks such as budget tracking, invoice processing, and procurement coordination.
• Coordinate meetings, workshops and field visits, preparing agendas, minutes and follow‑up actions.
• Liaise with partners, NGOs and international organisations to facilitate project delivery.
• Collect, verify and input project data into reporting tools and maintain accurate records.
• Support the preparation of progress reports, donor updates and other project documentation.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; university degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in NGOs or international organisations, preferably in the MENA region.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and organise priorities.
• Fluent in Arabic and English; working knowledge of French is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
