Project Coordinator – MEP

About the role

Smart Buildings Co is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Project Manager in delivering large‑scale MEP projects. You will act as the central communication hub, ensuring that mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works progress smoothly and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring MEP activities.
• Facilitate daily communication between engineers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Track project progress, site activities, and task completion.
• Monitor MEP installations for compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
• Review drawings, technical submissions, and work schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues on site.
• Manage material requirements, deliveries, and approvals.
• Prepare project updates, reports, meeting minutes, and progress tracking documents.
• Support coordination across Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing disciplines.
• Identify and escalate risks, delays, or coordination challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP construction or engineering coordination.
• Proven ability to work with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• PMP certification is a plus.
