Sales Manager – Building Materials & Electrical Solutions

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead sales planning, team performance, and market follow‑up for key building‑materials and electrical solutions activities across Libya. The role involves driving commercial execution, building strong client relationships, and ensuring timely tender responses.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute a monthly sales activity plan aligned with company objectives.
• Coordinate sales activities with other departments and monitor market trends weekly.
• Develop, motivate, and evaluate the sales team against monthly targets and KPIs.
• Track competitors’ pricing and technical specifications.
• Maintain relationships with contractors, EPC firms, consultants, government entities, developers, and key distributors.
• Identify and follow up on tenders, prepare professional offers, and report on outcomes.
• Manage receivables collection and provide detailed reporting on visits, activities, and weekly results.

Required profile

• 8–10+ years of B2B/project sales experience, with at least 3 years in a sales‑leadership role.
• Proven background in building materials, electrical products, electromechanical products, power distribution, or construction‑related sectors.
• Experience selling to contractors, EPC companies, consultants, government bodies, developers, and major distributors.
• Demonstrated success in tender‑based sales, pricing analysis, and negotiation.
• Strong understanding of receivables and collection management.
• Arabic and professional English proficiency.
• Preferably based in Libya (Benghazi or Tripoli) with a solid commercial network in the local market.
