Technical Support Engineer – Card Issuing & Payment Platform

About the role

The Technical Support Engineer will ensure the day‑to‑day operation, monitoring and administration of the Card Issuing and Card Management Platform. You will work closely with technology teams, banks, payment partners and regional stakeholders to keep the platform secure, reliable and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and support the Card Issuing & Management Platform, monitoring availability and performance.
• Manage user access, roles, configurations and platform parameters according to procedures.
• Support the full card lifecycle – creation, activation, blocking/unblocking, replacement, renewal, expiry and PIN processes.
• Monitor system health, logs, alerts and troubleshoot technical errors and transaction issues.
• Provide first‑ and second‑level technical support, record incidents and follow change‑management processes.
• Support integrations with banks, payment switches, card networks, POS, ATMs, digital wallets and other third‑party systems.
• Assist with API, interface and middleware monitoring, and resolve connectivity failures.
• Perform routine administration, coordinate with infrastructure, database and cybersecurity teams, and support backup, recovery and business continuity activities.
• Participate in testing of new releases, software upgrades, patches and configuration changes.

Required profile

• Experience in technical support or operations of payment or card‑issuing platforms.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams including technology, operations, banks and payment partners.
• Willingness to undergo specialized training and knowledge‑transfer programs.
