Territory Marketing Manager - Libya

About the role

Salvo Grima Group, a family of companies active in ship supply, travel retail, wholesale and product distribution across Europe and worldwide, is looking for an experienced Territory Marketing Manager to lead its trade marketing efforts in Libya. The role calls for a visionary leader who will build and drive trade marketing strategies that raise brand visibility and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic trade marketing plans to boost brand visibility, sales and market share in Libya.
• Lead and manage the trade marketing team, guiding and coaching them to meet their goals.
• Build relationships with retailers, distributors and industry partners.
• Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activity to design targeted campaigns for different channels.
• Advise on the trade marketing budget so resources are allocated efficiently and ROI is maximised.
• Work with sales teams on integrated campaigns and promotions aligned with business strategy.
• Monitor, evaluate and optimise trade marketing activities continuously.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field; a Master's degree is an asset.
• Fluency in Arabic (written and spoken); English is a strong advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in trade marketing, with a strong FMCG background.
• Solid knowledge of the North African retail landscape and consumer preferences; tobacco experience is an advantage.

• Project management, budget management and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with trade marketing software and tools.
