Ticket Operations Manager

About the role

Abr Alamaken - Aatis, a travel and tourism investment company based in Tripoli, Libya, offers accommodation arrangements, flight ticketing and end-to-end travel planning. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Ticket Operations Manager in Tripoli to oversee daily ticketing and reservations activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage ticket operations processes and supervise ticket sales.
• Ensure accurate booking, issuance and documentation of flight tickets and related services.
• Coordinate with travel agents, airlines and internal teams to resolve issues and optimize workflows.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Deliver high-quality customer service, handle escalated inquiries and monitor performance metrics.
• Contribute to service and revenue improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in travel and tourism or airline ticketing operations; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Diploma or degree in Tourism, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Effective communication in English and Arabic; additional languages are an advantage.

Required skills

• Ticket operations and ticket sales, including booking, issuing and managing flight tickets.
• Operations management: designing, monitoring and optimizing ticketing workflows.
• Box office management or similar front-office ticketing experience.
• Proficiency with reservation and GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) and standard office software.
