Edge Support Analyst

About the role

We are looking for an entry‑level Edge Support Analyst to join our DrillOps team in Libya. The role is based on‑site at drilling rigs and focuses on maintaining IT infrastructure, data links, and communication between the wellsite and remote operation centres.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain data connections between the wellsite and town networks.
• Manage user access and permissions for wellsite systems.
• Troubleshoot IT infrastructure, including RCS, Coda systems, sensors, cabling and related issues.
• Maintain and track IT equipment inventory on the rig.
• Restart and maintain virtual machines as required.
• Operate town‑based Orchestra and Prism systems.
• Support basic data acquisition, core and service elements of wellsite execution systems.
• Facilitate seamless communication between the rig site and remote centres.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, networking and system troubleshooting.
• Motivation to learn and grow in IT support for drilling operations.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, communication and teamwork abilities.
