Structural Design Engineer – Steel Structures

About the role

Khalifa Holding Group is seeking a skilled Structural Design Engineer specialized in steel structures to join its engineering team in Benghazi. The role involves designing, analyzing, and optimizing steel frameworks for a variety of construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and analyse steel structures, including frames, connections, beams, and columns.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or Tekla Structures.
• Perform structural calculations and simulations with Robot Structural Analysis, SAP2000, or similar software.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure design feasibility and compliance.
• Review and approve shop drawings and fabrication details, and conduct site visits to assess structural integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in steel structure design.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
