Digital Subsurface Lead

About the role

The Digital Subsurface Lead will act as the Asset Technical Team Leader, overseeing petroleum engineering and subsurface functions for an asset. The role ensures effective reserve development and recovery through technical leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise production, reservoir, and exploitation engineering activities, as well as geology and geophysics applications focused on subsurface characterization.
• Lead the conceptual design of drilling, completion, reservoir, and production engineering feasibility studies and proposal planning.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure asset evaluation aligns with corporate objectives and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Approximately 15 years of experience in petroleum engineering, subsurface characterization, and related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SLB Subsurface Technology.
