About the role
The Drilling Product Sales Engineer will grow market share and revenue for assigned accounts in Libya by building strong customer relationships and matching technical solutions to client needs. This full‑time position combines field expertise with sales activities to deliver value across the drilling product portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and maintain customer relationships through field visits, follow‑up on jobs, and stakeholder consulting.
- Act as the primary customer interface with operations and capture competitor activity.
- Maintain opportunity pipeline and account data in C4C, including visit reports and customer profiling.
- Coordinate scheduling with service delivery and provide product/service recommendations.
- Troubleshoot product performance in the field and resolve complaints.
- Stay informed on sales programs, new product introductions, and market trends.
- Identify multi‑line and multi‑division opportunities and support business‑line collaboration.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Basic understanding of drilling operations, sales processes and customer relationship management.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
- Team‑oriented with the ability to collaborate across multiple business lines.
- Motivation to learn, grow and succeed in sales engineering.
Required skills
- C4C (SAP Cloud for Customer) usage for pipeline and account management.
- Knowledge of drilling operations and related technical concepts.
