Geomodeler (DecisionSpace Geosciences & Scalable Earth Modeling)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Geomodeler with deep expertise in DecisionSpace Geosciences (DSG) and the Scalable Earth Modeling (SEM) module. The role involves building, updating and maintaining advanced 3D static geological and earth models to support reservoir characterization, volumetric calculations and field development planning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain 3D static geological and earth models using DSG and SEM.
• Integrate seismic interpretation, well tops, logs and petrophysical data into structural, stratigraphic and property models.
• Build fault frameworks, structural models and velocity/depth models with advanced SEM tools.
• Perform facies, property modeling and model upscaling, applying algorithms such as variograms.
• Ensure models align with Coordinate Reference Systems (CRS) and resolve spatial discrepancies.
• Deliver model outputs to reservoir engineering teams for simulation and volumetric assessments.
• Document modeling processes, conduct quality control and communicate assumptions to technical and management audiences.
• Stay current with geomodeling advancements and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Geology, Geophysics, Petroleum Geoscience or a related field.
• 10‑13 years of professional experience in geological/earth modeling.
• Advanced, hands‑on expertise with DecisionSpace Geosciences (DSG) and the SEM module.
• Deep knowledge of fault frameworks, structural, velocity/depth and stratigraphic modeling.
• Experience with facies, property modeling, upscaling techniques and variograms.
• Proficiency in handling seismic interpretation, well logs, tops and petrophysical data.
• Ability to resolve CRS and spatial inconsistency issues.
• Familiarity with delivering outputs for reservoir simulations and volumetric assessments.
