HR Legal & Compliance Expert

About the role

Presto, Libya’s leading food and grocery delivery platform, is seeking an HR Legal & Compliance Expert to take full ownership of employee‑related legal cases. The role combines hands‑on case management with preventive policy work to ensure all employment decisions are defensible under Libyan labour law.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and triage the employee relations case register, prioritising cases by severity and legal risk.
• Lead investigations, gather evidence, interview parties, and produce written reports with recommendations.
• Ensure disciplinary actions and grievance resolutions comply with Labour Relations Law No. 12 of 2010 and related regulations.
• Review, update and improve contracts, policies and procedures to reduce recurring employee issues.
• Monitor audit findings and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Senior‑level HR professional with extensive experience in labour law and employee relations.
• Proven ability to manage a high volume of complex cases from intake to closure.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills, with a focus on legal compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Libyan Labour Relations Law No. 12 of 2010 and its Executive Regulations.
