Monitoring and Evaluation Manager

About the role

The Monitoring and Evaluation Manager will lead the design, implementation and quality assurance of M&E systems for field programmes, ensuring data‑driven decision‑making and accountability across the mission.

Key responsibilities

• Mainstream and adapt IMC’s Global M&E Guidelines, tools and templates at the field level.
• Promote Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) standards within the organization and among beneficiaries.
• Design and coordinate needs assessments, situation analyses and ensure they inform project design.
• Incorporate donor M&E requirements into proposals, including mandatory indicators and annexes.
• Develop results frameworks, theories of change, logframes and M&E plans for new and existing projects.
• Identify and manage budgets and resources needed for M&E activities.
• Represent IMC in M&E and assessment working groups, fostering a positive organizational image.
• Establish a participatory M&E framework, develop harmonised data collection tools and reporting flows.

Required profile

• Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation within humanitarian or development programmes.
• Strong knowledge of donor M&E standards and ability to integrate them into project proposals.
• Experience designing needs assessments, results frameworks and theory of change.
• Capacity to provide technical support and build M&E skills within country missions.
• Ability to manage M&E budgets and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
