Senior Accountant

About the role

We’re hiring a Senior Accountant to join LibyaUCC Holding’s Finance team and support the financial operations of the Area 47 asset. The successful candidate will maintain accurate financial records, support month‑end close activities, ensure compliance with internal controls, and deliver reliable financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• General ledger, journal entries and monthly closing
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Fixed assets and inventory accounting
• Balance‑sheet reconciliations
• Financial, statutory and management reporting
• Audit, tax and internal control support
• SAP and finance data management

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field
• Strong accounting, reconciliation and reporting experience
• Good knowledge of ERP/SAP and spreadsheets
• Professional English proficiency
• Upstream oil and gas, E&P, PSC, cost‑recovery or JV accounting experience is an advantage
