Space Market, Innovation & Investment Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a senior expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The role focuses on developing space and geospatial markets, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, and enhancing investment readiness across African and European ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market analyses and feasibility studies for space and geospatial sectors.
• Design and implement innovation instruments, incubation and acceleration programmes.
• Provide advisory services on commercialization, investment readiness and access to finance.
• Facilitate policy dialogue and institutional partnerships between African and EU stakeholders.
• Support knowledge exchange, private‑sector engagement and sustainable ecosystem development.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in market analysis, innovation, entrepreneurship, business development or investment advisory within technology sectors.
• At least 4 years of experience specifically in space or geospatial markets.
• Strong knowledge of African space markets and investment ecosystems is an asset.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is a plus.
