Supply Chain Associate (Humanitarian Logistics)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Supply Chain Associate to support its Libya Mission. Working under the supervision of the Supply Chain Officer and in close collaboration with project managers, the associate will help implement procurement and logistics activities that enable humanitarian operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing procurement processes for goods, works, and services needed for humanitarian projects.
• Maintain and organize documentation, contracts, and procedures related to supply, procurement, and equipment upgrades.
• Support customs clearance, government paperwork, insurance management, and asset control.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment.
• Provide administrative support for procurement requests and related reporting.

Required profile

• Under direct supervision of the Supply Chain Officer and overall supervision of the Head of Supply Chain unit.
• Ability to work closely with project managers and other mission staff.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in handling procurement documentation.

Required skills

• Knowledge of procurement procedures and logistics management.
• Familiarity with customs clearance processes and asset control.
