Supply Chain Associate

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Supply Chain Associate to support the Libya Mission. Working under the Supply Chain Officer and in close collaboration with project managers, the associate will help plan and execute procurement and logistics activities that enable humanitarian operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, procurement, and logistical support for humanitarian projects.
• Maintain procurement, supply, and contracting procedures, including documentation and asset control.
• Coordinate customs clearance, government paperwork, and insurance management for goods and services.
• Support equipment upgrades, asset tracking, and inventory management.
• Provide timely assistance to project managers on supply‑chain related requests.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in procurement, logistics, or supply‑chain support, preferably in humanitarian or UN contexts.
• Ability to work under supervision while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Knowledge of procurement processes and documentation.
• Familiarity with customs clearance and asset management.
• Understanding of logistics coordination for humanitarian operations.
