Logistics Manager

About the role

We are seeking a strategic, hands‑on logistics leader to operate in complex humanitarian environments, turning supply‑chain challenges into practical solutions and supporting programme implementation across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the logistics team, set goals aligned with country strategy, provide training and build capacity across offices.
• Conduct market analysis and contribute to programme design, budgets, procurement plans and donor reporting.
• Oversee procurement processes, deliveries, stock, fleet, assets and insurance, ensuring regular review and compliance.
• Strengthen anti‑corruption controls, risk management and audit follow‑up through spot checks and verification.
• Maintain logistics filing, reporting and data systems, including implementation of Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Tender Management System (TMS).
• Support emergency preparedness, area‑level partnerships and ensure adherence to NRC Logistics Handbook and donor requirements.

Required profile

• 3–5 years senior logistics experience (Coordinator, Advisor or Manager) in humanitarian or recovery contexts.
• Proven ability in data collection, analysis, market analysis and report writing.
• Strong leadership, analytical and collaborative approach with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Experience with donor compliance (especially KfW), start‑up or exit operations, and remote management.
