Application Engineer – Benghazi

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking an Application Engineer to join its oilfield technology team in Benghazi. You will work closely with Service Delivery Coordinators and other resources to ensure flawless execution of projects from pre‑planning through post‑job analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Execute ESP design and optimization for oilfield applications.
• Plan inventory management and forecast equipment orders.
• Provide sales and technical support to the sales team.
• Lead special‑project design and handling.
• Manage customer reports and communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical or petroleum engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in ESP design.
• Proven ESP optimization and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Leadership, interpersonal, influencing and planning abilities.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Benghazi.
