Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer Annotator to support AI model development by reviewing, annotating, and validating backend engineering datasets, code samples, and system designs. The role combines strong analytical skills with deep knowledge of server‑side technologies to ensure high‑quality training data for artificial intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples, REST API and GraphQL workflows, and micro‑service interactions.
• Label datasets that include authentication mechanisms, scalability tests, and performance metrics.
• Validate server‑side code for correctness, reliability, and security compliance.
• Provide structured feedback and engineering reasoning to improve dataset quality.
• Review database queries, container configurations, and cloud deployment scripts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate technical evaluations clearly.
