Business Development Executive

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Business Development Executive position is based in Tripoli. You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities across the oil, gas, power and industrial sectors, leveraging Petrolead’s core service lines.

Key responsibilities

• Research target markets and generate qualified leads.
• Prepare proposals and actively participate in client meetings and presentations.
• Manage and grow key accounts while maintaining an accurate sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with technical and operations teams to align solutions with client needs.
• Monitor market trends, support contract negotiations and contribute to revenue growth and long‑term strategic partnerships.

Required profile

• Proven business development and lead generation experience with a track record of converting opportunities into sustainable revenue.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Account management expertise, including relationship building and client retention.
• Understanding of business fundamentals in engineering, oil & gas or energy services, and basic commercial/contract awareness.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in B2B sales or business development within energy, oil & gas, industrial services or engineering is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office applications and data‑driven reporting.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Tripoli, travel to client locations as needed and collaborate in a multicultural, multidisciplinary team.
