Drilling Data Manager Engineer – Halvue & Landmark Applications

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Drilling Data Manager Engineer to support a short‑term (1‑2 months) assignment in Libya. The role combines drilling engineering expertise with data‑management skills to ensure high‑quality, accurate drilling data across Halvue and Landmark platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, validate and perform QA/QC of drilling data on the Halvue platform and Landmark applications.
• Integrate and migrate drilling data between multiple systems, maintaining accuracy and consistency.
• Monitor and manage real‑time data exchanges between rig‑site systems and central databases.
• Uphold data security, confidentiality and access‑control measures in line with governance requirements.
• Generate documentation and reports to ensure traceability and support data‑driven decisions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and transfer knowledge on best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum or Drilling Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in drilling data management or drilling engineering.
• Libyan national residing in Libya.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Halvue platform for drilling data capture and reporting.
• Experience with Landmark applications: OpenWells, Compass and WellPlan.
• Hands‑on expertise in data loading, validation, quality control, migration and multi‑system integration.
• Knowledge of real‑time drilling data standards and rig‑site system integration.
• Understanding of data confidentiality, access control and governance.
