Driver – Supply Chain Support

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a reliable Driver to support its supply‑chain operations in Benghazi, Libya. The position involves transporting personnel, equipment and supplies while ensuring safety and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a variety of IOM vehicles to deliver goods and transport staff to designated locations.
• Perform routine checks and minor repairs to keep vehicles in good working order.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel records and vehicle documentation.
• Coordinate with the Supply Chain Assistant and Officer to schedule deliveries and respond to urgent transport requests.
• Ensure compliance with traffic laws, IOM safety policies and security protocols.

Required profile

• High school diploma (or higher) with at least two years of relevant driving experience.
• Valid national driver’s license.
• Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations.
• Fluency in English; working knowledge of Arabic, French or Spanish is an advantage.

Required skills

• Minor vehicle repair and maintenance abilities.
