About the role
The Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) Team Member will support mine action, victim assistance and risk‑education activities within the BRIDGE project in Libya. The role involves community outreach, data collection, and ensuring safe delivery of EORE services.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct mine action activities safely according to DRC SOPs, including victim assistance and EORE sessions in targeted communities and schools.
- Collect and report community data, accident and victim information, and support MEAL interviews for impact assessments.
- Develop, test and disseminate IEC materials, organise public awareness campaigns and provide training to enhance technical skills.
- Maintain and secure equipment, drive DRC vehicles (including 4x4) when required, and be ready for deployment outside Tripoli.
- Prepare and submit regular reports (IMSMA forms, weekly reports) to the EORE Team Lead.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year experience in EORE and victim assistance programming.
- Recognised EORE qualification with certificate.
- At least 2 years experience in a humanitarian organisation and work with local/refugee or migrant communities.
- Native Arabic speaker with basic English reading, writing and speaking.
- Physically fit, team‑player attitude and ability to follow safety guidelines.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Knowledge of GIS Survey123 or IMSMA (advantage).
- Valid Category A driving licence and ability to operate a 4x4 vehicle.

- Placement in Tripoli with a start date of 01 Nov 2026.
