Field Service Representative – Drilling Fluids II

About the role

The Field Service Representative – Drilling Fluids II provides on‑site well‑site service to Halliburton customers in Libya. You will apply training in fluids chemistry, hydraulics and testing to deliver technical solutions that support drilling operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized fluid testing, interpret results and recommend solutions.
• Operate separation and waste‑management equipment, ensuring optimal fluid performance.
• Collaborate with fluids and equipment supervisors, as well as technical professionals, to support rig operations.
• Maintain inventory of Baroid products and equipment spares based on drilling programs.
• Uphold health, safety and environmental standards at all times.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field is preferred.
• Completion of the Baroid Core Training Course or an equivalent industry program.
• At least 6 months of related experience in well‑site service or drilling fluids.
• Ability to work professionally as a Halliburton representative and build strong relationships with operators and rig personnel.
