Humanitarian Mine Action Project Manager

About the role

The Danish Refugee Council is seeking a Humanitarian Mine Action Project Manager to lead Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) and Victim Assistance (VA) activities within the BRIDGE project in Libya. The role ensures technical quality, coordination with partners, and alignment with national and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and provide technical guidance for EORE, VA and Mine Action Advocacy activities across Libya.
• Coordinate planning, scheduling, and phase‑out of project components, ensuring alignment with consortium partners and donors.
• Manage the assigned budget, develop Bills of Quantities, monitor expenditures and report discrepancies.
• Oversee logistics, staff movements and procurement processes for field operations.
• Liaise with national and local authorities, humanitarian actors and the DRC Protection and Economic Recovery teams.
• Maintain and update SOPs, Training Management Plans, workplans and other operational documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in humanitarian mine action, explosive ordnance risk education or related fields.
• Strong capacity‑building and team‑leadership abilities.
• Experience managing budgets and coordinating multi‑partner projects.
• Ability to work in a complex security environment and engage with diverse stakeholders.
