International Students Supervisor

About the role

The International Students Supervisor will lead the on‑site team in Tripoli, ensuring end‑to‑end support for Libyan students applying to study abroad. This full‑time position coordinates advising, supervises front‑line staff, and maintains high service standards throughout the application, visa and pre‑departure phases.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily advising activities and monitor student cases from initial consultation to arrival.
• Supervise and train front‑line staff, organize information sessions and workshops.
• Ensure documentation, deadlines and visa requirements are met for each student.
• Resolve escalated client issues and maintain regular communication with students, families and partner institutions.
• Produce accurate records, reports and contribute to continuous process improvement.
• Collaborate with management to enhance the overall student experience.

Required profile

• Proven supervisory or team‑lead experience with ability to organise workloads and give constructive feedback.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with students, families, partners and colleagues.
• Background or keen interest in international education, study‑abroad pathways and academic requirements.
• Demonstrated customer‑service orientation, patience and solution‑focused attitude.
• Experience in training, mentoring or coaching staff or students.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities, detail‑oriented and capable of handling multiple student files.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Social Sciences or related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office suite).
• Experience using CRM or student management systems.
• Ability to work with digital tools for record‑keeping and reporting.
