Local Coordinator – National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) in Libya

About the role

The National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) in Libya is looking for a Local Coordinator to manage its daily operations and support the delivery of the Erasmus+ programme across the country. Reporting to the Head of Cooperation at the European Union Delegation in Libya and working closely with the NEO Director, the coordinator will play a key role in promoting international higher‑education cooperation.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation and local coordination of the external dimension of the Erasmus+ programme in Libya.
• Assist in preparing and executing the annual work programme and monitor progress towards set objectives.
• Organise and coordinate the day‑to‑day activities of the NEO, including meetings, seminars and information sessions.
• Contribute to communication, outreach and awareness‑raising activities related to Erasmus+ opportunities.
• Liaise with national authorities, higher‑education institutions, students, academics and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Dynamic and committed professional with strong organisational abilities.
• Ability to work under the supervision of the EU Delegation and in close collaboration with the NEO Director.
• Experience in coordinating projects or programmes in the higher‑education sector is desirable.
