Maintenance Engineer – Wireline Services

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our Wireline Services team. You will ensure wireline equipment is ready, reliable and compliant with operational plans, supporting well construction and production activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and testing of wireline equipment.
• Validate equipment readiness and fit‑for‑job before deployment.
• Coordinate with Service Delivery, Asset specialists and field engineers.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment history.
• Contribute to reliability improvements and reduce equipment failures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of wireline and electromechanical systems in oil & gas.
• Experience with Baker Hughes wireline technology preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced operational environment.

Required skills

• Wireline equipment maintenance and repair.
• Electronic and electromechanical troubleshooting.
• Reading electrical circuit diagrams, wiring schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Use of multimeters, oscilloscopes and diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of SAP maintenance orders and equipment history tracking.
• Familiarity with maintenance management and digital reporting systems.
