Script Writer

About the role

We are looking for a creative and detail‑oriented Script Writer to develop compelling narratives for a variety of media, including YouTube videos, commercials, television and digital campaigns. Working remotely, you will collaborate with production and creative teams to turn ideas into polished, production‑ready scripts that align with our brand voice.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and write high‑quality scripts tailored to specific media formats.
• Brainstorm story ideas, themes and character development with directors, producers and the creative team.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure factual accuracy and authenticity.
• Craft realistic dialogue and pace action to advance the plot.
• Participate in script readings and revise scripts based on stakeholder feedback.
• Maintain consistent formatting and continuity according to industry standards.
• Manage multiple writing projects and meet strict production deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, English, Communications, Film or a related field (preferred).
• 3‑5 years of professional experience as a script writer, screenwriter or copywriter.
• Strong narrative development skills with an understanding of pacing, structure and visual storytelling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to pitch concepts and accept constructive criticism.
• Flexibility to adapt writing style to different audiences and project requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with scriptwriting software such as Final Draft, Celtx or Fade In.
